Sale of Shares

The PIC is desirous to raise equity capital through private placement to the tune of three hundred million (300,000, 000) Ordinary Shares of ten naira (N10) each with a minimum shareholding of five thousand (5,000) share units at ten naira (N10) each and subsequently in multiples of five thousand (5,000) units.

The Realization of the Equity Share Capital shall be used as follow:

  • Two billion (N2bn) naira Statutory Deposit with the Central Bank of Nigeria on the application which the CBN will refund with interest at a prevailing interest rate to the Bank on commencement of
  • The Balance after the Statutory Deposit with the CBN will be used for Infrastructural Development Fund including, Purchase of Land, Office Building, Furniture and Equipment, Operational Vehicles and robust banking software to cover the entities within the Union made up of 9 states of the South-East and South-South geopolitical zones of the Federation with a provision of N300m for operational funds in addition to the N2bn with interest from

The Name, Maranatha Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited has been reserved with the Corporate Affairs Commission for registration after the CBN has issued an Approval in Principle (AIP)
