What We Do

Maranatha Microcredit is a Microcredit Cooperative Society registered under the Abia State Cooperative Act under the name Maranatha Microcredit Cooperative Society Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shareholders, licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to provide comprehensive microfinance services to the unbanked and under banked in urban, semi-urban and rural areas of Nigeria.

Maranatha Microcredit is create financial, economic and technical aid and any other possible assistance to members in order to empower and reduce poverty.

Whereas the Project Implementation Committee registered the Maranatha Microcredit Cooperative Society Ltd in order to receive monies from share subscriptions pending the Incorporation of the Microfinance Bank with the CAC after approval by the CBN.

What qualify You to be a member

 

  • The membership shall be open to all members in good and regular standing within ENUC

Every member of the Cooperative Society must:

    • Be a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church
    • Be of good character.
    • Be not less than eighteen (18) years of age.
    • Every member’s application for admission shall be made on the prescribed form to the committee through the Secretary. The committee shall approve the Application provided that the applicant meets the admission conditions there-in stated.
    • Every member shall on admission sign against his/her name on the register of members
    • There shall be a non-refundable registration fee of two thousand naira (2000.00) only which only entitle one to participate in the business of the microcredit scheme.
